Sea Kayak Trinidad Bay

Sea Kayaking in Trinidad Bay offers participants the opportunity to explore the marine environment of the local area.  Unique rock formations, kelp beds, seal colonies, migratory sea birds, and frequent porpoise and whale sightings during the season, makes kayaking Trinidad Bay a must.

Sunset Trinidad Bay

This tour is similar to the previous listing, except we launch around6:30pm and paddle through the silhouettes of sea stacks in the evening’s tranquil waters.  Enjoy a sunset at sea from the seat of a kayak and see the wonderful views of Trinidad head, as the sun sets over the Pacific.  A truly relaxing trip! Full Moon Paddle

If you are up for a little adventure, let us take you paddling across the lagoon under a full moon.  The bioluminescence will enchant you!  Trips available during the summer months when the moon is full.

Whale Watching Tour

These are avian tours, very popular with ornithologists, though you will see and hear amphibians and insects as well.  The sloughs and protected wetlands are rich with all kinds of life.  These exploratory tours are slow paced and meant for looking, so bring your binoculars and cameras if you have them.

South Fork of the Eel River

The South Fork of the Eel River in Southern Humboldt is a very beautiful paddle, which meanders through a varied landscape including Old Growth Redwoods.  This trip is offered in the spring and early summer only while the water flow is still high enough to easily make the run.  We are flexible about the routes.
